MENCHES TOOL & DIE, INC has a long history of high quality and performance goals.
John Menches Sr., the founder, had many years of training and experience with Schlage Lock Company, Litton Industries and other bay area companies. In 1968 John Menches started his own business and experienced immediate success. His first orders came from his previous employers, knowing his expertise and his talents in tool and die design and manufacture.
In 1968 he incorporated as MENCHES TOOL & DIE, INC. The company grew , expanded and entered into other areas of manufacturing, focusing on the aerospace industries.
John Menches Jr. came to work with his father, and brought new ideas and plans for expansion. MTD purchased CNC equipment, applied and qualified to become a Boeing Licensee for Ground Support Equipment.
John Menches Sr passed away in 1999. His son, John, took over as president and has continued the growth and success of the company. All MTD key employees have been with the company over thirty years and are an important part of our history. |
