History

MENCHES TOOL & DIE, INC has a long history of high quality and performance goals.

Founded by John Menches Sr. in 1968, the company quickly found success thanks to his extensive experience with Schlage Lock Company, Litton Industries, and other Bay Area firms. His initial orders came from former employers who recognized his expertise in Tool & Die Design and Manufacturing.

Under John’s leadership, Menches Tool & Die, Inc. expanded into aerospace manufacturing and other sectors. In 1997, the company made a significant leap by acquiring CNC equipment and becoming a Boeing Licensee for Mechanical and Engine Handling Aircraft Ground Support Equipment.

Following John Menches Sr.’s passing in 1999, his son, John Menches Jr., assumed the role of president. He has continued to drive the company’s growth and success. The dedication of key employees, many of whom have been with the company for over thirty years, remains a cornerstone of Menches Tool & Die, Inc.’s enduring legacy.
